Ben Chapman-Smith Music
Ben Chapman-Smith Music takes an innovative approach to music education by combining traditional music lessons with artist development services, live and in-studio audio production, event organizing, grant writing, and music industry mentorship/management. Clients and students can look forward to their preferred blend of top-quality performance coaching on Guitar, Bass, Drums, and Vocals, personalized goal setting, and developing “back-of-house” skills that apply to their goals and projects. since 2024 Ben has produced multiple releases, including Kicker’s Self Titled EP, “Twelve” by Twin Brooks, and the “Alone Again”, and “Luck” singles by Archetype. Under the name “Can’t Sleep Productions,” Ben has also organized more than 10 shows and a 3-date cross-NL youth tour for his students since 2024. Last but not least, Ben has knows the album funding cycle intimately and received funding from MusicNL, Arts NL, FACTOR, and the city of St John’s for artist development(Recording) and touring grants.
